In 2019 I started to paint on "Gobelin" tapestries and "Toile de Jouy" fabrics. These European landscapes - icons of the taste of a generation - express the admiration of some Brazilian families for the representation of idyllic images of so-called more developed civilizations. I grew up in a family of Polish origins, in a house filled with similar scenery. Through the perception (and overcoming) of this ancestral cultural fascination, I started to use tapestries and fabrics to paint new landscapes. Letting the memories of these old environments go, allowed me to rebuild an emotional place for my inner visual world.
